Feeling depressed in reaction to loss is natural, however, that depression should lift with the passage of time. We learn to be depressed; it happens by conditioning from emotional events. When it doesn't lift, when the misery continues without apparent reason and treatment is necessary, it will involve uncovering and resolving the subconscious causes.
DIG DEEPERYagerian Therapy utilizes mental abilities of the patient that all people have, but are not usually recognized. The therapist guides the patient to use the abilities for the purpose of problem solving or achieving higher levels of functioning. Desired change is accomplished by the therapist guiding the patient through a series of logical steps using their own extra-conscious domain to identify the actual cause of the problem being addressed, thereby making resolution possible. In using Yagerian Therapy, the actual causes of the problems are identified and resolved, thereby eliminating the symptoms of the problems.
They range widely. Apprehension, irrational fear, insomnia, sweating, pacing, rumination, tension, restlessness, and muscular tension are all included.
Emotional tension impairs the vital functions of the body. We are only aware of the conscious part.
We seek to understand things, especially about ourselves. Sometimes we succeed.
Depressing things happen and we usually heal with time. Lasting depression is the consequence of conditioning from earlier experiences that has become subconscious, where we can’t consciously fix things. Since depression is caused by conditioning from those earlier experiences; relief can come from reconditioning.
Although adequate data is not yet available from this online version of Yagerian Therapy, data has been collected in over 400 cases when the method was used in individual therapy settings. In these cases, 227 patients reported full resolution of the problems treated, and another 183 reported an average of 73% improvement, with only 21 patients reporting less than 10% improvement.
